Chicago's Groundbreaking Suburban Food and Wine Event Premiers at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles on Nov. 17-18, 2012

Distinctive Events Inc. teams up with Yelp to present the 2012 Chicago Food & Wine Festival at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles on Nov. 17 and 18.

This celebration of food and wine will feature unique tastings from top chefs, restaurants, sommeliers, brewers and Mixologists. It’s a culinary adventure to please even the most sophisticated palates. Adding an unprecedented line-up of celebrity chefs and culinary personalities creates an epicurean experience that is not to be missed.

The Chicago Food & Wine Festival premiers at 11 a.m.  Nov. 17  with a one-hour limited ticket VIP kickoff that allows early access to the Tasting Pavilions and to mix and mingle with our Star-Studded celebrity lineup. At noon, the Grand Tasting begins for an All-Inclusive experience for every guest to enjoy.

The Host, Chicago's Very Own Fanatic Foodie, Ted Brunson from WGN TV's “Chicago's Best”, along with guest host Mark DeCarlo from ABC's “Windy City Live”, will create non-stop energy as they mingle with the guests and share the stage with the Chefs. Hourly cooking demonstrations from the celebrity chefs such as Hell’s Kitchen’s Dana Cohen, Patrick Cassata and Brian Merel, MasterChef’s Josh Marks and Monti Carlo and The Next Food Network star’s Judson Todd Allen will keep the action going all weekend.

For wine lovers, join Chicago's WineDiva, Jessica Altieri at the "WineChannelTV Wine Lounge with Just Jess" where you can relax and enjoy specialty wines with friends and learn about the hottest trends in the culinary world.

For Craft Beer lovers, you won’t want to miss Two Brothers Brewing Company Pavilion. If you don’t already know, they craft award-winning, artisan Beer AND serve up spectacular food! Be sure to sample some of their newest craft beers, amazing food and Two Brothers will even have something completely unexpected up their sleeves!

For the most personalized experience, Saturday night's Celebrity Chef Charity Gala offers just that. Every Celebrity Chef will present tastings of their signature dishes, along with special wine choices and signature cocktails. Guests can also take part in specialty item auctions with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the event Charities. Guests will have quality time to speak with each Celebrity Chef and the hosts throughout the course of the evening as well. Our goal for this event is to raise over $20,000 for Autism Speaks and Susan G. Komen for the Cure and every ticket purchase helps.
