Tai Chi is the most widely practiced martial art in the world. Besides being a martial art, it is a complete health system strengthening the muscles and internal organs. An internal style of martial arts, Tai Chi teaches mental focus, while emphasizing coordination, balance relaxation, and proper breathing. When practiced properly, Tai-Chi can be an effective form of self-defense. At all levels, studies suggest Tai Chi regulates the central nervous system and helps prevent stress, high blood pressure, and heart problems.
