Fabyan Villa Museum and Japanese Garden opens for the 2014 season

Preservation Partners of the Fox
Valley is delighted to announce that the Fabyan Japanese Garden and Fabyan
Villa Museum will open for the season on Sunday,
May 4th from 1-4:30pm
. Both sites are located in the Fabyan West Forest
Preserve on Route 31, just north of Fabyan Parkway in Geneva.



The historic Fabyan Villa Museum
offers  guided tours that share the
Fabyans’ fascinating story and intriguing artifacts of their 1907 re-designed
Frank Lloyd Wright home. The last tour is a half an hour before closing.  After visiting the museum be sure to savor a
moment or two in the tranquil, Fabyan Japanese Garden. This garden is designed
for strolling and quiet reflection and self guided handouts are available. The
garden is over one hundred years old and has many restored original features.



Donations are appreciated at both sites. Garden visitors $1pp. Museum
visitors $2 per adult and $1 per child. May hours for the Japanese
Garden are: W 1-4pm and Su 1-4:30pm. May Villa Museum hours are: W 1-4pm and Sat/Sun 1-4:30pm. For more information please visit www.ppfv.org or call 630-377-6424.
