“Sensible Threadz” Collecting Children & Teen Shoes

Sensible Threadz, a Discount Retail & Resale Clothing Store,
located at 208 S. Kirk Road
in St. Charles, is hosting a Shoe Drive
for “Conley Outreach”, a non-profit
organization in Elburn, from August 1st – August 31st. Customers can bring in a pair of new or
used shoes or boots for children through teens, and Sensible Threadz will give $5.00 OFF an item in the store.

Conley Outreach
Conley Outreach Community Services (COCS) is a 501c (3) not-for-profit
organization devoted to "Caring for the Heart of Community". With
offices in Elburn and Sugar Grove, COCS coordinates several community-based
programs designed to strengthen individuals, families, and communities as well
bereavement, referral and advocacy services. The Good Samaritan Clothing Closet
is also open once a month to Kaneland/Big Rock area residents. The closet has
clothing for all ages and sizes, but keeping a good selection of clothes for children
and teens is a priority due to the large number of young families it serves.
