Taoist Tai Society Society Fox Valley Open House

The
Taoist Tai Chi Society® will host a series of open house classes beginning the
week of August 9 at their St Charles location in Charlestowne Mall, lower
level, next to Carson's. Open House Beginner Taoist Tai Chi® classes will
be held Saturday morning 8/9 from 9:00-10:30 a.m., Monday evening from
6:30-8:00p.m., and Tuesday 8/12 10:00- 11:30a.m. Tai Chi provides a
non-impact exercise alternative to help relax your body and replenish your
energy in a natural, holistic way. Using a phased training approach, Tai Chi is
an internal art of health that is adapted to any health and fitness level of
need. Taoist Tai Chi® was developed by Moy Lin Shin to promote health and
well-being for people of all ages and is a very effective form of holistic
health training taught in a relaxed, club-like atmosphere by accredited
volunteer instructors. The Taoist Tai Chi Society® is a non-profit
organization with more than 40,000 members in 30 countries.

The benefits of Taoist Tai Chi® are improved circulation, balance, increased
strength and flexibility, plus reduction of stress. A beginner can expect three
to four months of classes to learn the gentle movement sequence. Continuing
classes are offered to further develop and refine movement and for ongoing
health benefits. Adaptive classes, called Health Recovery, are open to anyone
with special needs due to injury, illness or disability. Morning, afternoon and
evening classes are available. Class fee: $155 adults, $125 seniors for 4
months classes.
