On The Fox Art & Craft Show Food Drive

Ring in the holiday season this year by helping feed the needy while you go holiday shopping at Christmas on the Fox Art & Craft Show, Thanksgiving weekend at the Prairie Events Center.

Guests are invited to scour their pantries for non-perishable food items and paper goods that will be collected at the show and donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva for distribution to food pantries throughout the region.

This is a professionally organized show featuring much-loved and respected artisans and crafters with something for everyone: jewelry and folk art paintings, purses, infant clothes, floral design, fine woodworking and holiday décor galore.

For stocking stuffers there will be salsas, sauces and chocolate lollipops plus handmade goat's milk soaps from Wisconsin farmer Belinda Copus.

For added sparkle and holiday spirit, there will be a Christmas tree decorating contest for local residents, businesses and organizations. Everyone is welcome to cast a vote for their favorite design and pick up decorating ideas for their own trees.

Plan to spend the day; parking is free, lunch will be available and the building is handicapped accessible.
