Magazine Ranks St. Charles, Geneva Schools Among Kane's Best
Chicago Magazine's September issues spells out which school ranked what and how the schools were rated, from Chicago through the outer suburbs.
Chicago Magazine’s September issue includes its list of Best Public Schools 2012, and two St. Charles and four Geneva schools are on the top of that list for Kane County schools.
Rhe magazine ranked Geneva’s among the top Kane County elementary schools, followed by No. 2 and No. 3 in St. Charles. was ranked No. 4, and was ranked No. 5.
was the county’s top-ranked high school by the magazine.

The magazine based its ranking on such factors as test scores, per-pupil spending, pupil-teacher ratios in elementary schools and high school graduation rates. The data cane from state report cards for the 2010-11 academic year, according to the magazine in its explanation of the rankings.
