On the Web: Lazarus House For Turkey, Synthetic Pot May Go and Walmart Ponders Becoming a Grocer

Here are a few stories around the Tri-Cities this week you should know about.

Lazarus House in St. Charles will welcome anyone for its annual Thanksgiving feast. Help is always needed for anyone who wishes to cook. You can read more in and this Daily Herald article on the preparations and who to contact to help out. 

Batavia is considering a ban on synthetic marijuana. Read some and found out what a here. Patch is also considering a similar ban. 

The Batavia Walmart appears to be considering expanding into a grocery market after design plans were submitted to the city for a nearly 36,000 square foot addition. The store opened in October of 2005 and the proposed addition could mean 85 new jobs in the area. Read more in the Kane County Chronicle.
