The St. Charles Heritage Center Split The Pot Raffle Is BACK!

The St. Charles Heritage Center will officially start selling tickets for its Split the Pot Raffle on Saturday, February 2, at the Blue Goose Market in downtown St. Charles.  Fundraising committee members will be in the store from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket prices are as follows: 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 8 for $20 and 50 for $100. Five winning tickets will be drawn on Saturday, June 29th at the 3rd Annual St. Charles Heritage Celebration; each winner will receive a percentage of the winner’s share. Half of the money raised from ticket sales will go to help support the St. Charles Heritage Center and their mission to collect, preserve and present St. Charles History, the other half will go into a pot to be shared by the winners. 

“The response to the raffle the last two years was fantastic” said Fundraising Chairman Brian Henry.  “We wanted to offer more people the chance to win this year so we will be pulling five winning tickets instead of just one. Last year the winner’s share was over $6,000 and we hope to surpass that this year! It’ll be fun again for the community to track the winning amount on a thermometer sign in front of the museum.”

The winning shares will breakdown as follows: 5th place will receive 5% of the winner’s share, 4th place will receive 10%, 3rd place will receive 15%, 2nd place will receive 20%, and 1st place will receive 50%.

After Saturday, tickets will be available at the St. Charles History Museum and will be sold from February 2 – June 29. Get yours soon and good luck! Thank you for supporting the St. Charles Heritage Center.
