Authorities Arrest Burglary Suspects
Three West Chicago residents suspected of multiple burglaries at Targets in St. Charles and Wheaton.
A two month investigation by St. Charles police and two other departments resulted in charges of burglary for two adults and a juvenile from West Chicago.
Police charged Edgar R. Aguilar, 21, of 609 E. Blair Street in West Chicago, and a 14-year-old West Chicago youth were charged with burglary in Kane County. Warrants for a third adult offender have been issued. Charges of Burglary, a Class 2 Felony, were brought against the suspects May 25. The juvenile was petitioned into Kane County Juvenile Court on the charge.
According to St. Charles police, Target loss prevention personnel filed a series of police reportsfor burglary. Target officials turned over surveillance footage which showed three individuals remove Nintendo DS games and expensive headphones out of their packages and conceal the electronics in their clothes.

Officials at the St. Charles Target, 3885 E. Main St., shared the description of the suspects with other area stores. Similar thefts were reported at the Wheaton Target store and video at that store showed the same three men, according to the police report.
Police personnel from St. Charles and Wheaton were assisted by West Chicago Police investigators who were able to identify the suspects. Interviews were conducted with the three offenders and they were first charged by the Wheaton Police Department in DuPage County.
