Blotter: St. Charles Officer Directed to Hospital After Kick During Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aggravated battery to a police officer

A St. Charles police officer was sent to Delnor Hospital for a knee injury after a woman kicked her during an arrest, according to a report. Pamela Anne Warrington, 49, of 1914 Waverly Cir., St. Charles, is charged with aggravated battery of a police officer. Warrington repeatedly called 911 over a fraud report that had been resolved earlier. She was told to stop calling 911 unless it was an emergency. When Warrington continued to call, officers were sent to her home to arrest her for telephone harassment. During the arrest, Warrington allegedly started kicking the two officers, hitting one in the knee. She was processes and taken to Kane County jail. The injured officer was directed to Delnor for treatment.

A St. Charles man threw a “temper tantrum” in front of a police officer while trying to report that someone had stolen his XBox and several games on Dec. 27, according to a police report. The 18-year-old man told an officer than someone had stolen the game console 15 minute earlier. The screaming reportedly was enough that several dogs in the area started barking. There were no signs of forced entry but the man told police that a window of the apartment was left open while he was away.

A Gateway notebook computer was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Blockbuster, 2025 Lincoln Hwy. on Dec. 27, according to a police report. The car owner, who also is an employee at the video rental store, said she did not see anyone enter her vehicle.

Snow blower goes missing

A Toro-brand snow blower was reported stolen sometime between Dec. 18 and Dec. 29 from a St. Charles garage in the 800 block of West Main Street, according to a police report. The owner said she did not know took it but doesn’t think it was a neighbor.

Light post smacked

Someone knocked over a decorative light post, valued at $2,000, sometime on Dec. 27 or Dec. 28, on the east side of the St. Charles Place Steakhouse building, according to a police report. No tire marks were found on the grass around the post. It remains unknown how it was knocked down.

Marijuana arrest

Bryan C. Baudouin, 21, of 1329 S. 7th St., St. Charles, was arrested for possession of marijuana on Dec. 31, according to a police report. Baudouin and another person, Taylor P. Heavington, 21, of 2668 Bain Bridge Blvd., West Chicago, were in a vehicle that was stopped by police on Dec. 31. Heavington was arrested for drug paraphernalia.
