Blotter: Anonymous Tip to St. Charles Police Nets DUI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Anonymous tip leads to DUI arrest

June Ann Reedy, 31, of 114 S. Gladstone Ave., Aurora, was arrested for drunken driving on Sept. 1, according to a report. Police had received an anonymous tip that someone driving a red Ford Ranger cut off another driver. When police tracked down the truck, one officer allegedly saw it cross the traffic lines twice.

A traffic stop was performed and the driver, identified as Reedy, allegedly told police she had three alcoholic drinks. Field tests for intoxication were performed, after which Reedy was arrested. She declined to take a test to determine her blood-alcohol level and was cited driving under the influence and issued two traffic citations.
