Blotter: Drug Possession Charge for St. Charles Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drugs and drug pharaphernalia

Shawn Steven Schroeder, 32, 11 Hunt Club Dr., St. Charles, was arrested for drug-related charges on Feb. 17, according to a police report. Police were called to a home on a report Schroeder was using drugs. Schroeder allegedly told police he had injected heroin and was an addict. Officers recovered a syringe and a baggie containing a powder residue, among other items. Schroeder was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

Dispute leads to aggravated assault charge

Rene Vargas-Rogel, 30, of 1828 Wessel Ct., St. Charles, was arrested for aggravated assault on Feb. 17, according to a police report. Vargas-Rogel was reportedly involved in a domestic dispute and had allegedly threatened his wife while holding a knife. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

Public drunkenness citation

Charles Robert Pegahi, 34, of 519 S. 11th Ave., St. Charles, was cited for public drunkenness on Feb. 18, according to a police report. Pegahi was reportedly arrested after a dispute with a neighbor.
