Blotter: DUI Arrest for Montgomery Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI for Montgomery man

Lennie R. Williams, Jr., 40, of 1021 Harmony Dr., Montgomery, was arrested on March 3 for drunken driving, according to a report. A Dodge Avenger, driven by Williams, was stopped for allegedly speeding in the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue. An officer reportedly could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver. Tests for sobriety were conducted, after which Williams was arrested and booked. He later submitted to a test for his blood-alcohol level. Williams is charged with two counts of driving under the influence and was cited for two traffic violations.

Fight at St. Charles business

Vince Martin Monaco, 52, of 2902 Lincoln Hwy, St. Charles, was arrested for fighting after a scuffle broke out on March 3 at Charlie Fox's Pizza, 3341 W. Main St., according to a police report. The argument involved a manager and Monaco, an employee. Two other employees helped break up the fight.

Citations for after-hours drinking

Three people were cited for drinking after hours at a downtown bar, according to a police report. Erin L. Downing, 27, of 1S704 Bender Ln., West Chicago, was cited for serving after hours while Michael B. Schultz, 0N683 Countrylife, Maple Park and Nathan L. Tapp, 610 Ramsden Rd., Plano, were cited on March 4 for drinking after the bar had closed. An officer allegedly saw them drinking after closing inside Alley 64, 212 W. Main St.
