Blotter: Marijuana Arrests Plus One for 'Intent to Deliver'

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of marijuana

Breanna Nicole Lennon, 21, of 1742 Division St., was arrested on Oct. 6 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to a police report. She was reportedly driving a car that was stopped by police. An officer allegedly could smell marijuana on a copy of the car insurance. Field sobriety tests were conducted but the officer determined that Lennon was not intoxicated. She allegedly claimed that a small bag with green, leafy substance (determined to be marijuana) and a small glass pipe found after a search of the car belonged to her.

Raul Torres, 23, of 20 S. 14th St. No. 3N, was cited for drunken driving and several other traffic violations on Oct. 4, according to a report. Torres reportedly refused to take a breath test for blood-alcohol level after his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Candice K. Widerski, 31, of 712 Bluff St., Carol Stream, was charged with several drug charges, including intending to deliver marijuana, on Oct. 8, according to a police report. Widerski and another woman, Morgan Jean Abrams, 20, of 1060 Cherry Wood, West Chicago, were allegedly found in a parked car in the west side parking garage on Illinois Street. The officer reportedly could smell burnt marijuana. When asked, Abrams allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana. Police searched the car and reportedly found a plastic bag that contained about 18 grams of a green leafy substance that tested positive for THC, which is found in marijuana. A second, smaller bag was found that contained about 10 grams of a green leafy substance that tested positive for THC. A glass pipe for smoking marijuana also was found. Widerski reportedly told police a plastic container that held the two bags belonged to her. She was charged with possession of marijuana, intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Abrams was cited for possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of marijuana after police reportedly found a small bag in a purse.
