Blotter: Police Called for Report of Potential Drunken Driver

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. The indictment information was obtained from the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.

St. Charles blotter:

Andrew J. Coglianese, 32, of 916 Bluegrass Ln., Plano, was arrested for drunken driving on Feb. 13 after pulling out of a driveway, according to a St. Charles police report. An officer had responded to a call of a potential drunk driver in the 100 block of North Fifth Avenue. When the office arrived, he reportedly saw a vehicle backing out of a driveway. The driver, Coglianese, saw the officer and stopped. When Coglianese opened the car door, the officer reportedly could smell a strong odor of alcohol.
