The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Nicholas A. Spooner, 19, 255 S. 17th St., St. Charles, was arrested for underage drinking and illegal transporting alcohol on Feb. 15, according to a St. Charles police report. An officer reportedly saw a Mercury Mariner, driven by Spooner, run a stop sign at the intersection of South 19th and Oak streets. The officer, emergency lights turned on, followed Spooner, who eventually turn on South 17th Street and into a driveway. The officer also pulled into the driveway and had to restrain and arrest Spooner after he ignored commands to stop and attempted to quickly go inside the house. He told the officer he had drank a “part” of a beer. A empty Corona beer bottle and a clear drink bottle that smelled like beer where found in the Mariner. Spooner was cited to underage drinking, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign.
