Blotter: West Chicago Man Arrested for DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Michael C. Hayden, 50, 536 Medowview Dr., West Chicago, was arrested for drunken driving on Jan. 24, according to a report. Police had stopped a Nissan Maxima, driven by Hayden, that was seen speeding on West Main Street. During the stop, a police officer reported smelling alcohol coming from the vehicle.

Hayden allegedly refused to take a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, according to the report. He was then cited for DUI and speeding.
