A Carol Stream man reported his $40,000 motorcycle stolen to St. Charles police on Sept. 4.

According to reports, the motorcycle was parked unlocked on First Avenue, just north of East Main Street. The man was having dinner nearby from about 8 to 11:17 p.m.

The motorcycle is described as having a eight-foot wheel base, 1200 cubic centimeter engine, custom chrome and a custom paint. It also reportedly has a LoJack electronic monitoring system installed on it. That company was called to report the stolen bike.
