Drunken Woman Hospitalized After Wandering into Traffic

A woman who wandered into traffic on West Main Street on Thursday afternoon was hospitalized after police became concerned about her level of intoxication, the Kane County Chronicle reported.

St. Charles police were called about 3:30 p.m. to the 1400 block of West Main on a report of an intoxicated person in the roadway, the Chronicle reported. Officers called for paramedics after they found the woman and became concerned about how intoxicated she was. She was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

Police told the newspaper that no charges were filed.
