Power Outage Trips Fire Alarm, Leads to Evacuation of Kane County Judicial Center

A fire alarm prompted the brief evacuation of the Kane County Judicial Center Friday afternoon.

Lt. Pat Gengler of the Kane County Sheriff’s Department said a short power outage triggered the fire alarm.

One person became stuck in an elevator until the alarm could be reset, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
