Geneva Police Continue to Investigate Death of Woman Found on Metra Tracks

Kathleen M. King, 32, of Geneva, was found dead on the Union Pacific Railway tracks Sunday morning south of Esping Park, 227 Briar Lane in Geneva.

The Geneva Police Department is continuing to investigate the death of a 31-year-old Geneva woman whose body was found on the Metra train tracks Sunday.

Police said they could not comment on whether the death was suspicious in nature. The cause of death for King was also not available.

“We are still looking into the situation,” Geneva Police Commander Julie Nash said.  “We don’t have anything really to add at this point … we are deciding how to proceed.”

Police could not comment further on the open investigation.
