A representative of the Aintree Community Association reported on Wednesday a decorative glass globe light cover stolen from an entrance to the Fox Chase subdivision.
The cover is oval shaped, 18 inches high, 12 inches in diameter and valued at $150. A ground light nearby also was damaged.
The representative said he believed the light was stolen sometime between Sept. 3 and Sept. 6 and that it might have happened on a Friday night after a high school football game, according to reports. This type of theft and damage has happened 4-5 times over the last five years.
