Man Sought In Reported Credit Card Fraud at St. Charles Meijer

Here is an item from the St. Charles police blotter.

An Idaho woman contacted St. Charles police on April 12 to report that someone used her credit card to make purchases at local stores.

According to the police report, nearly $300 in charges were made at Meijer stores in St. Charles and Elgin. The woman told police that she was still in possession of her credit card and was unsure how anyone obtained her credit card number.

After an investigation, police obtained a description of a suspect they believe made the transactions. According to the report, the man is described as being black, in his 20s, heavyset and wearing a dark-colored jacket.
