The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A late-night intruder awakened two St. Charles women earlier this month after sneaking in through a kitchen window of a home on the 1200 block of Jewel Avenue.

According to a report filed with the St. Charles Police Department, a woman, who sleeps in a basement bedroom, went upstairs after hearing a loud noise that sounded like someone tripping. Thinking it was her daughter the woman went to investigate.

Before she could ascend the stairs, she told police she heard her dog barking, then the basement door opened and the dog was thrown down the stairs.
