Police Blotter: Marijuana Arrest for St. Charles Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

SATURDAY, APRIL 7

Marijuana and Paraphernalia Arrest

Dustin William Needham, 24, of 1212 Edward Ave., St. Charles, was arrested around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Madison and South 12th avenues. He was charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a stop sign.

SUNDAY, APRIL 8

DUI Arrest on West Main Street

Derek Powell Klimas, 34, of 4550 Douglas Rd., Oswego, was arrested around 2 a.m. in the 800 block of West Main Street. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and was cited for improper lane use.

Arrest for obstructing an officer

Michael Paul Hess, 25, of 1446 Joshel Ct., Geneva, was arrested around 7 p.m. in the 100 block of South 18th Street. He was charged with obstructing a police officer and for fighting.

MONDAY, APRIL 9

Retail theft

Kyle Richard Ortman, 19, of 332 S. 14th St., St. Charles, was arrested around 11 a.m. at Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St. He was charged with retail theft.
