MONDAY, JULY 9

Criminal Trespass

An 18-year-old St. Charles man was charged with criminal trespassing after he gambled on St. Charles Park District officials forgetting he had been permanently banned from the parks.

According to St. Charles police, Joshua Alec Love, 234 Grande Ridge Rd., was spotted by park officials at the skate park. When St. Charles police found Love still at the park, they asked him if he knew he had been banned. Love told police yes, but was hoping the park district staff would have forgotten, according to the report.

Love was given a court date of Aug. 22.
