Police: Elburn Man Tests at Three Times the Limit for DUI

Here is an item from the St. Charles police blotter.

An Elburn man was arrested for drunken driving on Feb. 19.

Benjamin Michael Locke, 21, of 2839 Red Oak Dr., was charged with DUI and DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08.

According to a police report, a vehicle driven by Locke struck a parking barrier in front of a police officer. The officer had Locke perform field sobriety tests, which he reportedly failed. A breath test resulted in a blood-alcohol level of 0.240.
