Police Investigating Shooting Death of St. Charles Man in Elburn
John H. Heinz of the 3N300 block of Limberi Lane was pronounced dead at Delnor Hospital Friday night.
A St. Charles man died from a gunshot wound in Elburn Friday.
Police continue to investigate the death of John H. Heinz, 71, of the 3N300 block of Limberi Lane in rural St. Charles. According to the Daily Herald, police found Heinz near an Elburn business after responding to a report of "shots fired" at 6:42 p.m. Friday.
Heinz was found unresponsive with a slight pulse. According to The Beacon News, he was taken to Delnor Hospital and pronounced dead at about 7:30 p.m.
