Purse Stolen Three Times from St. Charles Family Van

Here is an item from the St. Charles police blotter.

On three separate occasions, a purse belonging to a St. Charles woman was stolen from her minivan.

According to the police report, the Timber Trail resident told police that her purse was taken sometime during the night of April 17 and the early morning of April 18. A bank card and $300 in cash were reported missing with the purse. Someone reportedly also had attempted to use the stolen bank card.

According to the report, this was the third time a purse had been stolen from the van. The van did not show any signs of forced entry and the husband of the woman told police that one of the children “must have unlocked it.”
