The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

At $4 a gallon, it's a steal

Twelve gallons of gasoline were reported stolen on Aug. 13 from a motorboat parked in the 800 block of Arrowhead Lane, according to police reports. The owner told police that he believe the theft happened between the nights of Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 when the boat trailer was backed up to his garage. He estimated the loss at about $48, based on gas priced at $4 a gallon. No arrest was made.

Two cameras stolen from different hotel parking lots

A $700 camera was reported stolen from a car parked in the Courtyard by Marriott lot, 700 Courtyard Dr. on Aug. 13, according to police reports. The Sony NEX3 digital camera with removable lens was inside a black canvas bag, valued at $75. The driver’s side rear cargo window had been smashed out. In a separate report from that same day, a digital Kodak camera with accessories was reported taken from a SUV parked at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 E. Main St. Also taken was a laptop computer and two $3,000 checks from the City of Chicago. The owner of the items told police that the SUV belonged to a Chicago-based church.

Domestic battery

Nathan S. Delgado, 20, 107 N. 15th. St. Apt. B, St. Charles, was charged on Aug. 14 was arrested for domestic battery and underage drinking, according to police reports.
