St. Charles Police Arrest Man for Burglary

Suspect was caught at scene of crime, police said.

St. Charles police arrested a 35-year-old Aurora man in connection with a burglary on the 2700 block of Turnberry Road Monday.

Responding to a 911 call, police observed a man identified as Aric A. Liberati, 2323 Twilight Drive, Aurora, running from the residence in question, officials said in a release. After a brief foot chase Liberati was caught by officers.

On Monday morning at 10:17 police responded to a call regarding a suspicious noise reported by an occupant of the residence. TriCom dispatchers advised the officers that an occupant at the house observed a male subject wearing a green safety vest looking into the rear sliding glass door.
