Wallet Stolen

A Campton Hills resident reported at 10:51 a.m. that his wallet was stolen from a locked locker between 12:30 and 1:40 p.m. while he was at XSport Fitness, 238 N. Randall Road. The victim told police he was alerted to the theft by an email from his credit card company about suspicious activity on one of his credit cards between 3 and 4 p.m. Dec. 11 at a gas station in Chicago. There first were two $1 charges to a Discover card and to a Visa card, and then a purchase for $68. He did not learn his wallet was missing until the email alert. In addition to the credit cards, the victim told police his wallet contained $50 cash, two gift cards with a total value of $75, a debit card, a health savings card, his driver’s license and a state identification card. Police advised he should also report the unlawful use of his credit cards to the Chicago Police Department.
