St. Charles Police Blotter: DUI; Suspicious Incident

St. Charles police reports from Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, through Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.

Warrant Arrest

Luis Moyotl-Aguilar, 28, of the 200 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 3:59 a.m. at the Aurora Police Department, where he was being held on two St. Charles warrants for failure to appear in court. He was unable to post $1,500 bond and was transported to the Kane County Jail to await an appearance in court.

Theft of Less Than $500

Rebecca S. Small, 47, of the 2900 block of Majestic Oaks Drive, reported at 4:37 p.m. the theft of a wallet containing $80, her driver’s license and various cards. Small told police she believed she inadvertantly left the wallet behind while checking out a book for her son at the library. The library reported that no one had turned in a wallet.

DUI, Hit and Run

Nancy Elizabeth VonEsh, 48, of the 500 block of South 16th Street, was charged at 5:49 p.m. at South 5th and Indiana avenues with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane use, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Police responding to a hit-and-run accident received a license plate number and traced it to VonEsh’s home, where police arrested her. Her blood-alcohol concentration registered at .339, more than four times the legal limit. She posted $100 and her driver’s license and was released pending a Nov. 1 appearance in Kane County Court.

Suspicious Incident

Police investigating a suspicious incident from about 3:35 to 3:55 p.m. Monday in which a woman described as 6 feet tall, weighing 115 to 130 pounds, with short or crewcut blonde hair and possibly a blue shirt, ran behind a 12-year-old girl on Horne Street from 6th Street to 3rd Street. The report states a second juvenile girl was in the area and ran eastbound, but the 12-year-old did not know where the woman went.
