St. Charles Police Blotter: DUIs, Drunkenness, Bar Window Broken

SUNDAY, JUNE 23, 2013


Public Drunkenness


Theodore John Brubaker, 51, of the 1100 block of Dean Street, was cited at 7:50 p.m. at North 9th and Dean streets with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness.


Two Charged After Bar Window Broken


Rosalio S. Ramirez, 29, of the 26W100 block of Armburst Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 12:52 a.m. with criminal property damage, and Brian E. Solares, 29, of the 800 block of Bonnie Brae Driver, Downers Grove, was cited at 12:30 a.m. with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness. Both men were charged at the St. Charles Police Department, 211 N. Riverside Drive. Police were called to The House Pub, 16 S. Riverside Ave., at 12:02 a.m. on a report of criminal property damage. According to the report, the two were asked to leave and then were escorted out of the bar. Bar employees told police Ramirez struck a window pane of the inside front door with his fist after passing through the doorway and left. Damage was estimated at $100. Police encountered to the two men on Riverside Avenue north of the bar. Ramirez, who has been banned from the bar, posted $150 cash bond and was released pending a July 25, 2013 court appearance.

Retail Theft


John Freddi McMillan, 38, of the 200 block of Glen Ellyn Road, Bloomingdale, was charged at 4:58 p.m. at Walmart, 150 Smith Road, with retail theft after an iPhone case and belt clip valued at $29.88 was stolen.  McMillan was released with an order to appear in Kane County Branch Court on Aug. 1, 2013.

Public Drunkenness


Andrew R. Bright, 23, of the 1800 block of Chandler Avenue, was cited at 4:10 a.m. on the 600 block of Prairie Street with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness after police responded to a report of a man lying in the gutter on Prairie Street. Bright told police he had been drinking at St. Charles bars that night.


Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol


Nicholas Ernest Lozano, 25, of the 800 block of Huron Court, Carol Stream, was charged at 2:15 a.m. in the 200 block of West Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, and speeding-40 in a 25 mph zone. Police said his blood-alcohol concentration was .105. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a July 18, 2013 court appearance.


Driving Under the Influence of Drugs


John M. O’Brien, 23, of the 300 block of South Grant Street, Westmont, was charged with DUI-drugs, DUI-cannabis, no driver’s license, and improper lane use. According to police, a syringe was found lying on the ground outside the passenger window of O’Brien’s vehicle. O’Brien later asked police if he could have his syringe back, according to the report. He and his girlfriend posted an unspecified bond, and O’Brien was released pending a July 24, 2013 court appearance.


Public Drunkenness


Dustin D. Arnold, 31, of the 100 block of Longbeach Road, Montgomery, was cited at 12:37 a.m. at 200 W. Main St. with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness. Police monitoring downtown bar activity were told by a passerby that someone trying to start a fight with the bouncers in front of The Filling Station, 300 W. Main St. Police found Arnold, who was angry at being thrown out of the bar. The told him to leave, which he did, but later police said he jumped up on a bench seat and began yelling and pointing at patrons in the beer garden. Police then cited him.


DUI


Dana J. Langner, 69, of the 500 block of West Main Street, was charged at 12:16 a.m. on the 100 block of West Main Street with DUI, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol, and improper lane use. She posted her driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a July 18, 2013 court appearance.


THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 2013


DUI


Michael Alexander Frederick, 22, of the 5N300 block of Oak Road, was charged at 2L38 a.m. on the 100 block of Crane Road, with DUI, and improper lane use. He was released pending a court appearance.


Public Urination


Dylan Gage Tyra, 21, of the 500 block of Cheever Avenue, Geneva, was cited at 1:38 a.m. with public urination after police caught him urinating in an alley on the 200 block of Cedar Street.


WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2013


Vehicle Window Broken


A 50-year-old resident of the 1900 block of Wessel Court, reported at 9:30 a.m. that a window to his vehicle had been broken while it was parked in the lot at the apartment complex where he lives. Police found a number of large stones in the lot and, after seeing a vehicle drive by and kick one up into the air, suspect that is how the window was broken.

Criminal Trespass


Mark Richard Chroust, 26, of the 1100 block of Sunset Road, Geneva, was cited at 9:03 p.m. at Mt. St. Mary Park, 610 S. 1st St., with criminal trespass after being banned earlier from the park. He was released pending an unspecified court appearance.
