MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2013

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Christopher M. French, 23, of the 2800 block of Stockberry Lane, was charged at 1:37 a.m. in the 1400 block of East Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, and speeding, 54 in a 35 mph zone. He posted his driver’s license and was released on his own recognizance pending an April 18, 2013 court appearance.

DUI

William N. Carperos, 49, of the 500 block of School Street, Geneva, was charged at 4:22 a.m. at 1st and Indiana streets with DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, improper lane use, disobeying a traffic-control device, and driving without lights. Police said his blood-alcohol content registered at .115. He posted his driver’s license and was released on his own recognizance pending an April 18, 2013 court appearance.

DUI

Miguel Proa, 58, of the 700 block of West Forest, West Chicago, was charged at 3:32 a.m. in the 800 block of South Randall Road with DUI, and improper lane use. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending an April 18, 2013 court appearance.

SATURDAY, MARCH 9, 2013

Criminal Defacement of Property

The St. Charles Park District, 8 North Ave., reported at 8:22 p.m. that someone had used red spray paint to deface the bathrooms near the far south parking lot by the volleyball court at the The graffiti occurred toward the end of the snowfall on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, according to the report.

FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2013

Warrant Arrest

Ever R. Arriaga, 28, of the 700 block of West Main Street, West Chicago, was charged at 3:53 a.m. with no driver’s license, no insurance, improper lighting-one headlight, and he was arrested on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court on a retail theft charge. He was unable to post bond on the warrant and was transported to the Kane County Jail to await a court appearance.

THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2013

Warrant Arrest

Ashley Conde, 21, of the 900 block of North 5th Avenue, was charged at 4:25 p.m. with driving on a revoked/suspended license, no insurance, disobeying a stop sign, and failure to yield. She also was arrested on St. Charles police and DuPage County warrants for failure to appear in court. She was transported to the DuPage County Jail for warrant service there.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 2013

DUI

Julie Anne Curran, 42, of the 3N900 block of Emily Dickens Lane, was charged at 8:04 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Main Street with DUI. She posted her driver’s license, a $200 cash bond and a $50 processing fee and was released pending an April 11, 2013 court appearance.

TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2013

No Valid Driver’s License, Speeding

Azucena Contreres, 33, of the 600 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, was charged at 9:05 a.m. with driving on an expired driver’s license, and speeding, too fast for conditions, after an accident in the 1100 block of Geneva Road. She posted a $150 cash bond and a $50 booking fee and was released pending an April 11, 2013 court appearance.

Disorderly Conduct

Pub 222, 222 W. Main St., reported at 4:38 p.m. a patron was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave after the bartender declined to continue serving him because he was intoxicated. Officers told the individual he would received a letter stating he had been banned from the establishment, and cooperated with police when they instructed him to leave. Police said they had no further encounters with the individual that evening.
