Brianna N. Hicks, 20, of the 900 block of LaVoie Avenue, Elgin, was charged at 12:10 a.m. at The Filling Station, 300 W. Main St., with using false identification. The doorman at the bar told police Hicks entered using an Illinois driver’s license belonging to someone else. She was released pending a Jan. 24, 2013, appearance in Kane County Branch Court.
Driving Under the Influence
Henrietta V. Cornele, 57, of the 500 block of Prairie Street, Plano, was charged at 12:12 a.m. at 99 N. 4th St., with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08, and disobeying a stop sign. Police said her blood-alcohol content was .200. She was released on her own recognizance after posting her driver’s license pending a Feb. 7, 2013, court appearance.
Police responded at 12:56 a.m. to a report of a fight in progress at the Jambalaya/Bourbon Street bar at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St. Officers arrived to find one officer had separated most of the individuals involved, although a heated argument was continuing and one man was bleeding from the mouth, although he declined medical assistance. One of the men told police he had left the bar but returned to confront another man after his mother-in-law told him the individual had punched her in the face. Police said all the individuals involved in the altercation were intoxicated, that they did not know each other prior to the incident. The man accused of punching the woman denied having done so. The bar staff could not tell police who started the fight, and no one involved wished to pursue charges.
Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness
Michael S. Donovan, 25, of the 5N300 block of Red Hawk Court, was cited at 1:40 a.m. in the parking lot of the VFW on the 100 block of North 3rd Street, with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness. Police called a cab to take Donovan home. The cab driver later returned and said that Donovan had jumped out of the cab near his home and run off without paying his fare. Police contacted Donovan’s family, who made arrangements to pay the fare.

Nathan J. Hambel, 28, of the 27W000 block of Tamrack Drive, Winfield, and Travis W. Meissner, 28, of the 1N000 block of Richard Avenue, Wheaton, were each cited at 158 a.m. in the parking lot at 300 W. Main St., with public urination.
DUI, Other Charges
Brittany Allison Smith, 26, of the 200 block of North Tyler Road, was charged at 2:27 a.m. on the 300 block of West Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol; aggravated driving under the influence-license revoked/suspended; driving with a revoked/suspended license; failure to yield to an emergency vehicle; illegal transportation of alcohol; and a St. Charles warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended. Smith was transported to the Kane County Jail to await a court appearance.
Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., reported at 1:26 p.m. that the night before someone had stolen an extra large Lacoste jacket valued at $195. The store’s loss prevention officer provided police with a video showing the couple who made off with the jacket.

Criminal Damage to Property
, reported at 9:12 p.m. that someone had used a black marker to write on the walls and the door of the men’s bathroom toilet stall. No damage estimate was provided.
, reported at 12:07 p.m. that two women entered the store and each took two 750 milliliter bottles of liquor, which they hid in their handbags. A loss-prevention officer followed the two women out of the store where he confronted them about the thefts, and they ran off — but not before he grabbed their handbags, which they released. The women got into a vehicle driven by a male and left. The combined value of the four liquor bottles was estimated at $135.

Douglas William Komes, 54, transient, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. at Fed Ex, 615 S. Randall Road, No. 104, on a charge of criminal trespass after entering the location from which he had been banned. He could not post bail and was transported to the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Douglas R. Multan, 18, of the 400 block of Hickory Lane, Schaumburg, was charged at 8:20 p.m. on North 3rd Avenue with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released with a notice to appear in court Jan. 24.
