Obstructing Identification
Alejandro Ruiz, 32, of the 100 block of North 15th Street, was charged at 3:23 p.m. at South 13th and Walnut streets with no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle and obstructing identification. He also was arrested on an unspecified Kane County warrant. He was transported to the Kane County Jail to await prosecution.
Warrant Arrest
Kellie Ruth Shaw, 31, of the 700 block of Crossing Way, was arrested at 5:28 a.m. at 510 Dunham Road on a Sangamon County warrant for failure to appear in court, retail theft. She posted $425 bond and was released pending a Sept. 20 appearance in court.
