MONDAY, NOV. 26, 2012

Barking Dog Citation

Stephen T. Biggs, 32, of the 1400 block of Walnut Hill Avenue, was cited at 1:18 a.m. at his home with nuisance-barking dog. A neighbor complained that three dogs at the residence had been barking and the owner was not home.

Warrant Arrest

Ashley Conde, 21, of the 900 block of North 5th Avenue, was arrested at 12:42 a.m. on the 200 block of Randall Road on a Kane County warrant for driving on a suspended license. She also was charged with a new count of driving on a suspended license. She was unable to post $500 bond and was transported to the Kane County Jail to await a court appearance.

Public Urination

Angelo Vallejo, 45, of the 200 block of Longview Driver, Elgin, was cited at 1:40 a.m. on the 200 block of Cedar Street with public urination. Police said he was very intoxicated.

Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness

Brenna A. Ingersol, 22, of the 300 block of South 3rd Street, was cited at 1:47 a.m. at West Main and North 3rd streets with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness. Police said the woman was nearly struck by a vehicle when she started to cross the intersection against the light. Police described her as very drunk, but she would not tell officers where she was drinking, according to the report, because she did not want to get the bars in trouble.

Hit and Run, Texting While Driving

William Lee Rawson, 20, of the 1500 block of Avalon Court, was charged at 11 a.m. Sunday with hit and run, and texting while driving. According to police, an officer saw Rawson at 8:44 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, returning to the driver’s seat from outside a Pontiac Grand Prix pulled over on the 1000 block of Oak Street. The officer saw the windshield was smashed and followed Rawson to hi workplace, where Rawson was issued a written warning for the broken windshield. But the officer knew there had been a hit-and-run accident at 5:23 a.m. at 1724 Division St., where a mailbox had been struck by a vehicle. Bark found on the car was consistent, police said, with the hit-and-run accident to the mailbox. When the officer confronted Rawson about the evidence, he told police he struck the mailbox while he was texting and driving. Because Rawson was the only employee working, officers allowed him to finish his shift. Rawson turned himself in at the St. Charles Police Department on Sunday morning. He was released on his own recognizance pending a Jan. 13, 2013, court appearance.

Hit and Run, Speeding

Darin D. Fink, 41, of the 1800 block of Allen Lane, was charged at 2:15 p.m. at the , with leaving the scene of a vehicle damage accident, failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said the accident occurred at 6:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Hunt Club Drive and Iroquois Avenue, where a vehicle had struck a concrete light pole, which had been knocked to the ground. Police investigating the accident determined the vehicle had been a black Pontiac Grand Prix. Another officer checking the area found a black Pontiac Grand Prix which had damage consistent with the crash. Police were able to match debris from the crash site with the vehicle. Fink was sick in bed at the time and unable to speak with officers but came down to the police station on Sunday to turn himself in to police. He was released after posting $150 cash bond pending a Jan. 3, 2013, court appearance.s

SATURDAY, NOV. 24, 2012

Possession of Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia

Patrick William Bovyn, 25, of the 300 block of Newbury Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged at 3:41 a.m. at 1280 Fox Chase Boulevard with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis. He was released after posting $150 cash bond pending a Dec. 20 court appearance.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police were dispatched at 6:17 a.m. to Lundeen’s Liquor, 137 S. 16th St., on a report of a possible burglary. Officers arrived to find the lower half of the front glass door broken. A witness who called police said he saw two individuals running away from the area, but police were unable to find them.

Warrant Arrest

Tatiana Marie Wells, 29, of the 100 block of South 17h Street, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. at her home on a Kendall County warrant for retail theft. She was transported to the Kendall County Jail to await a court appearance.

FRIDAY, NOV. 23, 2012

Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness, Warrant Arrest

Jose Javier Martinez-Morga, 37, of the 100 block of North 15th Street, was cited at 1:01 a.m. with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness at 151 N. 15th St. He then was arrested on two Kane County warrants for no driver’s license, and for aggravated DUI. He was transported to the Kane County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance.

THURSDAY, NOV. 12, 2012

Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness

Nicholas Garza, 30, of the 200 block of Aldine Avenue, Elgin, was cited at 12:58 a.m. at West Main and North 2nd streets with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness.

Fighting Prohibited

Jonathan D. Judson, 32, of the 1300 block of Fox Meadow Court, and Neil A. Scroggin, 39, of the 1400 block of Dean Street, were each cited at 1:26 a.m. at 1314 Fox Meadow Court with public fighting.

DUI

Jesus F. Olvera-Carrion, 51, of the 1500 block of Riverside Avenue, was charged at 2:03 a.m. at North 7th and Cedar avenues, with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than .08, driving without lights when required and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Olvera-Carrion refused to submit to a chemical test, and an assistant state’s attorney authorized a search warrant, which was signed by a judge and executed at the station. Police said Olvera-Carrion’s blood-alcohol level was .104. He was issued a notice of summary license suspension and was released pending a Dec. 19 appearance in court.
