Public Drunkenness Cited in Bar Disturbance

Jacob Earl Yuder, 25, of the 46W400 block of Locust Street, Elburn, was cited at 1:41 a.m. at The Alibi Bar & Grill, 12 N. 3rd St., with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness. A police officer doing a premises check was approached by a woman who told the officer and a bar employee that Yuder was causing a verbal disturbance at the table where she and her friends were sitting. Police said Yuder started a physical confrontation when bar employees began to escort him out after he refused their request that he leave. Police said he became increasingly aggressive, pushing bar employees and patrons and knocking over others’ drinks as he tried to get away. The officer grabbed Yuder and dragged him out of the bar and later took him to the St. Charles Police Department, 211 N. Riverside Drive, where he was cited and issued a notice to appear in court.

Warrant Arrest

Rolando Cruz, 32, of the 1400 block of Indiana Street, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. at his home on an unspecified warrant. He was being held in the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance. Further details were not immediately available.
