SUNDAY, JAN. 27, 2013

Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness

Mikah J. Ellis, 25, of the 00-99 block of South Jackson Street, Batavia, was cited at 126 a.m. in the 00-99 block of North 3rd Street with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness.

Possession of Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia

Andrew Alfonse Fecteau, 18, of the 1200 block of Ronzheimer Avenue, was charged at 2:13 a.m. in the 1900 block of Cumberland Parkway with possession of cannabis-less than 2.5 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting $150 cash bond pending a Feb. 21, 2013 court appearance.

Theft, Less than $500

A 40-year-old resident of the 100 block of Kensington Place reported at 11:38 a.m. that someone stole a package from her mailbox between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2013. The report did not explain why the woman delayed making the theft report. The box contained a video game and some other items, with a combined value of less than $50, that had been mailed to her by relatives.

DUI

Christopher J. Olson, 48, of the 300 block of North 1st Street, Geneva, was charged at 11:24 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted his driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a Feb. 21, 2013 court appearance.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 23, 2013

Attempted Vehicle Break-ins

, reported at 5:03 p.m. that someone had tried to break into a trailer parked at the business overnight. Nothing was stolen, although there were marks left on the trailer by the person who had tried to enter it. The owner of the company told police he reviewed a security vehicle that showed a vehicle had driven through the parking lot about 12:30 a.m., and the individual tried to break into a trailer at a neighboring business, Topanco Holdings LLC. When that effort failed, the individual then  tried to break into the Ranger Heating & Cooling trailer, although it apparently was unlocked and contained nothing the thief wanted.

Criminal Property Damage

An 18-year-old resident of the 900 block of Manley Road reported ay 7:53 p.m. that someone had keyed the word “slut” onto the driver door of her 1998 Ford Windstar while it was parked in the fourth level of the West-Side parking garage, 100 Illinois St., at about 4 p.m.
