St. Charles Police Blotter: Warrant Arrests, Property Damage, Burglaries

St. Charles police reports from Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 through Sunday,Feb. 3, 2013.

SUNDAY, FEB. 3, 2013

Warrant Arrest

David Joseph Lamoso, 45, of the 200 block of Circle Drive, Addison, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. at 20 Police Plaza, Geneva, where he had been arrested on a St. Charles warrant for failure to appear on a driving on a suspended license charge, and a DuPage County warrant for failure to pay maintenance. He could not post bond and was held in the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Intoxicated Subject

Police were dispatched at 7:50 p.m. to , on a complaint of an intoxicated subject sleeping at the bar and harassing employees. Police described the 53-year-old Wayne man as extremely intoxicated. Initially, he told police he wanted to drive home, but the officer convinced him to pay for his dinner and take a cab to his home in Wayne. Officers assisted him into the cab and the incident was closed without an arrest.

SATURDAY, FEB. 2, 2013

Retail Theft

Marco Antonio Morales, 18, of the 1200 block of Kings Cross, West Chicago, was charged at 11:55 p.m. with retail theft at . He was issued a notice to appear in court on March 21, 2013.

Possession of Cannabis, Drug Paraphernalia

Mitchell Clinton Phelps, 18, of the 700 block of Westfield Drive, was charged at 9:55 p.m. at 1000 Wing Ave., with possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a notice to appear in court Feb. 21, 2013.

FRIDAY, FEB. 1, 2013

DUI, DUI Greater than .08

Kathryn Dale Doepke, 22, of the 100 block of South 3rd Street, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and improper lane use after the vehicle she was driving struck a parked vehicle in the 100 block of South 3rd Street. Police said her blood-alcohol level was .248, which is three times the legal limit. She was released on her own recognizance pending a Feb. 21, 2013 appearance in court.

Warrant Arrest

Daniel Brian Winger, 26, of the 300 block of North 1st Street, Geneva, was arrested at 10:17 a.m. at the , on St. Charles and Kane County Sheriff’s Office warrants after he was arrested by Geneva police and transported to St. Charles. He was being held in the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Criminal Property Damage

A 23-year-old resident of the 1700 block of Patricia Lane reported at 10:52 a.m. that someone slashed the front passenger-side tire to her vehicle while it was parked overnight in her driveway. No damage estimate was reported.

Warrant Arrest

Jon Robert Wilson, 44, of the 200 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 8 p.m. at his home on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear for driving with a suspended license. He posted $350 cash bond and a $75 failure to appear fee and was released pending a Feb. 21, 2013 court appearance.

Warrant Arrest

Adria Lynn Nuessen, 43, of the 00-99 block of Highgate Course, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. at her home on a St. Charles warrant for failure to appear on a DUI charge. She posted $1,000 cash bond, a $75 failure to appear fee and a $50 booking fee and was released pending a Feb. 27, 2013 court appearance.

THURSDAY, JAN. 31, 2013

Warrant Arrest

Antonia Galicia Anguiano, 34, of the 1400 block of Indiana Street, was arrested at 11:33 p.m. at the , after turning herself in on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear on a no driver’s license charge. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.


A 43-year-old resident of Noblesville, Ind., reported at 10:05 a.m. the theft of a black Nikon camera bag containing a black Nikon L310 camera. The Indiana woman told police the theft had occurred Jan. 26 at the , while she was attending a cheer event.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30, 2013

Criminal Property Damage

A 32-year-old resident of the 800 block of South 2nd Street reported at 1:28 p.m. that someone had shattered the driver-side side mirror on her 2000 Honda CRV while it was parked on the street in front of her home at 8:45 p.m. pm Jan. 27, 2013.

Residential Burglary, Property Damage

A 57-year-old resident of the 3N200 block of Loretta Drive reported at 5:22 p.m. that someone had broken into a home on the 1000 block of South 6th Street. The resident told police he was supposed to close on purchasing the home on Jan. 31 and had discovered the break-in at 10 p.m. Jan. 29. There had been no damage when he visited the home earlier — at noon on Jan. 27. Damage included a broken pane on the north door of the house, a door to the garage had been kicked in, someone had urinated on the floors in both bathrooms. There also were discarded beer bottles in the home, and someone had smoked cannabis in the home as well.

Warrant Arrest

Nicholas C. White, 28, of the 200 block of Walnut Street, was arrested at 9:17 p.m. in Chicago on unspecified warrants from St. Charles. He was transferred from the Cook County Jail to St. Charles police but was unable to post bond, He was transported to the Kane County Jail pending a court appearance.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Rocio Alejandra Martinez, 20, of the 1000 block of South Tamarac Drive, Mount Prospect, was charged at 11:08 p.m. with leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane use after striking a stop sign at 16th and Howard streets. Police found the vehicle parked at 401 S. 19th St. She posted $150 cash bond and was released pending a Feb. 21, 2013, court appearance.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29, 2013

Vehicle Burglary

A 39-year-old South Elgin woman reported at 12:34 p.m. that someone had stolen her purse from her vehicle between Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 while it was parked at . She delayed reporting the vehicle burglary as she tried to locate the purse, which contained her driver’s license, a firearm owner’s identification car, her Social Security card, credit cards, her checkbook, several gift cards valued at $130, and an older GPS unit.

SATURDAY, JAN. 26, 2013

Residential Burglary

A 33-year-old resident of the 400 block of South 13th Street reported at 4:52 p.m. that she was taking a nap when she heard a knock at the front door and then the doorbell rang. As she was getting up, she heard the door open and encountered a male who had entered the home and asked repeatedly, “Where is Susanna?” The man left, got into a green Chrysler Town & Country van and left. The woman’s husband, who had been asleep on a nearby coach, told police his wallet was missing from atop a ledge near the front door. The wallet, valued at $50, contained between $475 and $500, plus a driver’s license, as well as credit and debit cards. The man was described as unshaven, about 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a bright orange Chicago Bears jersey and a heavy black coat, possibly with a hood.
