Blotter: Police Find Pipe for Marijuana During DUI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI arrest leads to marijuana possession charge

Alexandra Zae Schnulle, 22, of 9S221 Graceland St., Downers Grove, was arrested on Aug. 27 for drunken driving and drug possession, according to a report. Schnulle, driving in a black Acura MDX, was stopped for reportedly going 61 in a 35 mph zone. The police officer was able to smell alcohol allegedly coming from Schnulle’s breath. She told the officer that she had several drinks that night. Tests for intoxication were conducted and Schnulle was placed under arrested for driving under the influence. The officer conducted a search of her car and discovered a pipe with burnt residue and a small baggie that contained a green leafy substance. Schnulle was charged with two counts of DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was cited for speeding.

Drunken driving arrest

Caleb M. Scott, 29, 1012 Indiana Ave., St. Charles, was arrested on Aug. 28 for drunken driving, according to a police report. Scott was stopped while driving a car on South Kirk Road after an officer determined he was allegedly traveling 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. Tests for intoxication were conducted and Scott was placed under arrest. He was charged with two counts of DUI and was cited for speeding.

Theft of clothing

Katherine Ann Duraski, 34, 621 Doral Ln., North Aurora, was arrested on Aug. 29 for retail theft, according to a police report. Duraski was arrested after allegedly taking nearly $250 in items from a clothing store located in the 3800 block of East Main Street.
