STC Man Arrested for Possession of Cocaine

Here's an item from the St. Charles police blotter.

A St. Charles man was arrested Monday morning after police reportedly found a small baggy of powder cocaine in his pocket.

While being taken into custody on an outstanding Kane County Sheriff's warrant, Glenn G. Puttroff, 33, of 34 N. 15th St., was searched by police outside of a business at 221 S. Second St., according to reports. They discovered the baggy in the front pocket of his jeans. It tested positive for cocaine and weighed .25 grams.

Puttroff was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, was processed and taken to Kane County Jail, where he was released into the their custody.
