Police said they received a report that a bullet was found in a common area of the school. No threats have been reported.

Officers were at the school to assist with the evacuation. Police are continuing to investigate.

A lock-down of the building followed. Officials do not think there is an imminent threat.

Blaney said the district and school are exercising caution. He said that he would not characterize the situation as being the result of a specific threat.

As of early Thursday afternoon, the building and backpacks were being searched. All after-school activities on campus are cancelled.
