6th Congressional District Election Results: Coolidge Leads with 53 Percent of Vote

Updates throughout the night on the Democrats vying for the 6th Congressional district in the Illinois primary.

The winner of the 6th Congressional District Democratic primary will face incumbent Republican Peter Roskam, in the November election. Roskam has held the 6th U.S. Congressional District seat since 2007.

The 6th Congressional District spans five counties including parts of Lake, Kane, McHenry, Cook and DuPage. The Illinois State Board of Elections has a district locator.
