Early Voting Continues Through Nov. 1

In St. Charles, residents can cast ballots early at the Municipal Center.

Those who want to vote early — whether you are going to be out of town or don’t want to risk long lines on Election Day — will have the opportunity to do so at the , starting later this month.

No — it is not your usual polling place, but they’ll be prepared to accommodate you.

Early voting will be available Oct. 22 to Nov. 1 in the rotunda of the St. Charles Municipal Center from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except Nov. 1, the last day of early voting, which is a Thursday). Early voting allows voters to cast a full ballot before Election Day.  It is intended to make voting easier for everyone by reducing lines at polling places and allowing voters to vote when it fits their schedule.

Early voting is administered at assigned locations throughout Kane County. The city of St. Charles Municipal Center is one of several early voting locations around Kane County.
