  • What is the primary reason you are running for office?

I am running is to bring back citizen representation to the 4th Ward. Many residents feel their concerns have not been adequately addressed in recent years. The residents want to know their Alderman will listen to their concerns and address them. I want to be a voice of the people of the 4th ward in St. Charles and bring a fresh perspective to City Council.

  • What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Bringing new businesses, as well as keeping existing business, in St. Charles should be the top priority of City Council and will be my top priority.

  • What sets me apart from the other candidate?

I am not a career politician like my opponent. I will bring a fresh perspective to City Council and offer new ideas that are more representative of the citizens of the 4th ward, and of St. Charles.

  • How long have you lived in St. Charles?

I was raised in St. Charles. My family moved here in 1971. I attended Davis School, Thompson Junior High, and graduated from St. Charles High School. I have lived in the 4th Ward since 1999.

  • What is your favorite thing about St. Charles?

I love the diversity in the neighborhoods here. It makes our community great, and keeps St. Charles a desirable place to visit and live.

  • What is the biggest problem in St. Charles?

Retaining existing businesses, and attracting new businesses to the Charlestowne Mall area and eastern retail corridor.
