Here are five things going on today:
1. The City of St. Charles will host its at 7 p.m. in City Council chambers in the Community input will be used to assist the City in preparing a plan to guide the future growth and development of St. Charles.

This workshop is the first of many face-to-face events scheduled throughout the planning process. It allows citizens to provide input before any plans or recommendations are made. Information received at this meeting will set the foundation for the plan.
2. Originally scheduled to end today, the Macy's Museum Pass program at the has been extended through Oct. 31. The following museums have agreed to an extension: Air Classics Museum, Arlington Heights Museum, Bronzeville Children's Museum, Brookfield Zoo, Cantigny Park Museum, Chicago Botanic Garden, Cuneo Museum and Gardens, Elgin History Museum, Elgin Public Museum, Graue Mill and Museum, Lake County Discovery Museum, Mitchell Museum of the American Indian, Oriental Institute Museum, and The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn.

3. Seats remain available for the Stress Management For Heart Health program from 7 to 8 p.m. at . This information session will teach participants ways to reduce stress and transform it into a less threatening part life for the sake of heart health.
