St. Charles Slates Comprehensive Plan Open House

Residents to get another look at the plans for Charlestowne Mall and Main Street corridor during the Thursday, Oct. 4, open house.

The city of St. Charles will host a second open house to review new draft plans for the East Gateway, Charlestowne Mall and Main Street Corridor from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in the St. Charles City Council Chambers, 2 E. Main St.

The open house is part of the city’s comprehensive plan process and includes input received from a Visioning Workshop for the Charlestowne Mall area that was held in August, according to a release from the city.

“We encourage residents, property owners, and members of the business community to come by any time during the open house and offer their perspective on the new plans,” said Russell Colby, planning division manager. “Citizen input is vital to the city’s comprehensive planning process.”  No formal presentation is planned.
